Hi, I’m Derrick.

I’m a photographer and videographer who cares about helping people see the value in who they are and what they do.

My love for creating started with photographing small details on an iPod Touch, making short films with my brothers, and shooting hype videos for my high school running teams. In 2018, with borrowed cameras and guidance from a generous mentor, I began pursuing that passion seriously.

What I enjoyed most then is still what drives me today: getting to know people and capturing what matters to them. Whether I’m photographing a family, telling a business owner’s story, or filming someone doing what they love, I want their personality and passion to come through.

You don’t need to know how to pose or feel natural in front of a camera. My job is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and free to be yourself. From there, we can create something that feels honest and gives others a way to connect with you.

I’m based in Idaho, with roots in San Antonio and quarterly visits for client projects. I’m available for work nationwide and internationally.
